A growing significance of buyers is an increasingly apparent trend in the global LNG market. It leads to successive drops in prices and greater flexibility of LNG exporters. The trend results in the necessity to change purchasing strategies by making them more dynamic and flexible. Strategies that will matter are the ones that adjust the demand to the rapidly changing global market. Despite the development of pro-environmental technologies that can compete with LNG, gaseous fuel still remains a key component of the energy mix.
